The beach is 170 meters long and 14 meters wide.

Punta Prima is located near Torrevieja which is located next to the sea in the south Valencia, and is surrounded by two large natural salt-water lagoons. The local beaches have earned 67 European blue flags, and they range from secluded sandy dunes with magnificent pineapple trees with picnic areas for long to long flat sandy beaches extended by many kilometers.

Torrevieja is an old fishing village, just minutes drive from Punta Prima. There is a fantastic range of facilities including lovely Espalande, with its outdoor cafes and harbor area - perfect for an evening walks. As well, there is many shops, tapas bars and restaurants which are open all year plus an incredible indoor market which sells a large variety of fresh fish, fruit and vegetables.

Local attractions: There is a market every day of the week at different locations, but Playa Flamenca is on a Saturday morning certainly one of the best and easiest to get around. Furthermore, there is a market in Torrevieja every Friday, a market of enormous size. It is worth a visit. Visit the place early to avoid the large crowd.

Due to its location between the salt lakes, Torrevieja has a unique healthy microclimate and the World Health Organization WHO has declared the city as one og the healthiest places in the world. This has attracted many property buyers from all over Europe and Torrevieja has become a big city, which express itself in the wide range of shops and services. Torrevieja has received many awards, including for being one of the most enviromentally oriented municipalities in Spain.

There are so many different beaches in Torrevieja. La Mata, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Los Locos, El Cura Lo Ferris just to name a few. These beaches, all awared the Blue Flag, is some of the best beaches on the Mediterranean.

Playa del Cura is one of the most popular beaches, because there are play areas for children, showers, parking, water skiing, rental of sunbeds, lifeguards, taxi and bus stops. You will also find numerous bars and restaurants along the lively promenade.

Los Locos beach called El Salaret are of fine golden sand and clear blue water. At the north end are small bays, adjacent to Cabo Cervera.

Further, it is also possible to rent windsurfing pedal boats and more.

Naufragos beach is a more "town beach". Here the water is clean and the sand almost white. This beach is also well attended, and only a few kilometers from here you can visit Torrevieja harbor with great facilities such as restaurants, shops, and more. Torrevieja is home port for many of the mediterranean's largest boats, and the marvelous marina has more than 1,500 first-class boat spaces.

Torrelamata beach has many attractions for divers and other water sports. This beach also offers a wide range of services and is ideal for families. The beach is always clean and there are lifeguards. The water has a very beatiful blue color and is crystal clear. This beach has extensive facilities for the disabled, parking, showers, cleaning service, many garbage cans, beach bars and restaurants.
